The balancing point of the year
Noticing balance in your life at September's Autumn Equinox

With the Autumn Equinox this week, we are at a true balancing point in the year.
The Equinox has tipped us into the dark half of the year when the nights are longer than the days - but the dark arrives gently - reminding us that seasons shift gently (traditionally) without a loud shout from Summer to Autumn.
Traditions around the equinox and the harvest moon are to celebrate the harvest.
To pause with gratitude at this tipping point from late Summer into deep Autumn.
Welcoming the season of letting go, while remembering our thankfulness.
So I invite you to pause today with gratitude, maybe take a walk (or even a dance) under the bright moon, to pay attention to what you have harvested this year.
Where has your harvest has been 'light' (some might say poor)?
And what has the space made by the 'poor' harvest brought in?
Where has your harvest been abundant?
And what are the blessings and lessons in this abundance?
This can be a great time to release those things that no longer serve you and take a look at the boundaries in your life that have 'bent' too much to the whim of others and are no longer supporting you.
Ask yourself, where do my boundaries support me and where do they need strengthening to protect what's important?
